MULTIPLAYER WITH FRIENDS
Bring a wingmate. Join the same fleet.
Starquest is a free multiplayer browser game you can enter alone or play with friends. Guest players can jump straight into public combat. Sign in with Hybrid-ID to find your friends, keep a callsign and save your career across devices.
Find a friend by callsign
- Open Pilot Account and sign in or create a Hybrid-ID account.
- Set a unique Starquest callsign. It can contain 1–14 letters, numbers, underscores or dashes.
- Open Play with friends and search for your friend's callsign.
- Send a friend request. Your friend must accept before their live battle status is shared.
If a pilot has not chosen a callsign, search their displayed first-name alias and short identifier. Ask your friend for the exact name shown in Starquest.
Join the same battle and house
Accepted friends can see each other's live battles and join when seats are available. A friend invitation can lead to a battle that is older than the five-minute Quick Play window. Choose the same house to fight together: Tokugawa is yellow, Red Star is red, Hibernia is green and Colos is purple.
You can also share a squad invitation or battle code from the lobby. Each house has ten ship slots, with bots covering open seats. A full, eliminated or tournament-locked house cannot accept a new pilot.
Pick a job for each wingmate
In Battle Royale, one pilot can collect early supplies while another covers their route. In Capture the Core, escort the slow carrier. In Bombing Run, clear a path to the target mothership and get out before detonation. In Transporter Escort, protect your supply ship while a wingmate intercepts enemy deliveries.
Use team chat and squad commands to coordinate. You each earn credits to upgrade your own ship, so a durable escort and a faster interceptor can support the same attack in different ways.
Come back to your crew
Signed-in pilots can find ongoing matches in recent battles. You return to your original house if it has room; you cannot switch factions to get around a full team. The battle keeps moving while you are away, and a server restart restores checkpointed matches so you can reconnect.
If you first played as a guest, choose Keep my progress and approve account linking before expecting those rewards in your account career. Signing in by itself does not merge guest records.
Watch before joining
Use Watch live in the battle list to see the action without taking a player seat. The spectator view offers automatic action tracking, each house's base camera and a map overview. Live battles are also shown in Hybrid Arena.
