Pointing your ship in a new direction does not instantly redirect its momentum. Boost to accelerate along your new heading. Braking uses engine heat too, so save some cooling capacity for your approach to base.

Phone and tablet controls

Use your right thumb to steer. On the left, hold or slide between Boost, Boost + Fire and Fire. Shots follow your ship’s heading: you cannot steer and shoot in separate directions. Tap the minimap to expand it, then tap again to return to combat.

Tap your credits to open the hangar. Sound and music have separate switches in the top menu; mobile browsers may require a tap before audio starts. A current browser with hardware acceleration gives the game its best chance to run smoothly.

Keep your ship alive

Fire in bursts to avoid weapon overheating. Boosting builds engine heat; a fully overheated engine temporarily locks out boost. Watch the heat indicators and leave yourself enough capacity to escape.

Shields absorb hits before the hull. Hull damage reduces engine performance and does not repair itself in open space. Automatic shield regeneration also stops when your hull is at or below half strength. Return to your own mothership and slow down for repairs.

The aiming marker marks your weapon’s reach. Projectiles expire at their effective range, so chasing a distant enemy while firing wastes heat. Choose a position that lets you hit while preserving a route back to friendly support.

Install upgrades at the right moment

Open the hangar at any time to compare hulls, weapons, engines, shields and repair bots. Queued changes install when you respawn, or after five continuous seconds within 120 metres of your mothership while moving at 30 metres per second or slower. Credits are charged when the upgrade is installed.

After a death, you can watch the explosion and prepare your next loadout. When the respawn countdown finishes, choose Respawn now to launch. A destroyed home mothership removes that option; your team must rely on its surviving ships.

Join a friend’s battle

  1. Open Multiplayer lobby and choose a game mode and house.
  2. Use Quick Play for an available match, or Create Battle to start a new one.
  3. Send your friend the invitation link or battle code. They can enter the code in the lobby.
  4. Choose the same house to be allies, if it has an open seat. Human pilots replace bots.

A live multiplayer battle continues while you browse menus. Use team chat and quick commands to coordinate an escort or call for help.

Save your career and choose a nickname

Open Pilot Account to sign in with Hybrid-ID and set your public nickname. Without a nickname, the game uses a first-name alias with a short identifier. Signed-in multiplayer rewards are saved to your account across devices. Solo and guest progress stay in that browser.

Finish a match to earn eligible completion achievements. Leaving early forfeits those end-of-match awards. Visit the game mode guide to learn which objectives your team needs to protect.
