THE STARQUEST FIELD GUIDE

Your first flight starts here.

Starquest is a browser space combat game with four rival houses, drifting starfighters and destructible motherships. Join a multiplayer skirmish or practice with bot wingmates. Play with a mouse and keyboard, or use touch controls on a phone or tablet.

Fight as a fleet

Choose House Tokugawa, House Red Star, Hibernia Freehold or House Colos. Each house has ten ships, with bots filling the seats until human pilots join. Your house stays locked for that match. Defend your mothership, support your wingmates and earn credits by damaging enemies and completing objectives.

Destroying a mothership stops that house from respawning. Its surviving pilots can still fight, so the battle continues until the remaining opposition is eliminated. Environmental hazards, including electrical storms, black holes and the radioactive boundary, make positioning matter.

Pick a battle that fits your crew

Open Battlefield is a direct assault on rival fleets. Transporter Escort adds vulnerable supply ships that rebuild bases. Capture the Flag asks you to tow a golden core home. Bombing Run turns the objective into a nuclear payload that must reach an enemy mothership before its fuse expires.

Upgrade as the battle unfolds

Earn match credits to fit new hulls, engines, shields, repair bots and weapons. You equip one weapon at a time, with distinct range, projectile and heat characteristics. Browse the hangar during a match; queued upgrades install on respawn or after a slow docking pass over your home mothership.

Steering changes your heading while momentum carries you through space. Thrust, braking, engine heat and weapon heat all shape a fight. Learn to fire in bursts, preserve boost for an escape and return home before hull damage leaves you exposed.

Play together, or learn with bots

Open Multiplayer lobby and choose Quick Play to find a battle, or Create Battle to start one. Share its battle code or invitation link with friends. Solo flight lets you learn each mode with bots.

You can play as a guest. Signing in through Hybrid-ID lets eligible multiplayer career progress follow your account across devices. Set your public nickname in Pilot Account. Solo and earlier guest careers remain local; signing in does not merge them.

Stay through the end of a match to receive eligible completion medals and rewards. Career ranks and achievements are separate from the match credits you spend in the hangar.
